Audi Q5 Sales Reports

Audi Q5 Sales Figures

U.S & Canada Auto Sales for Audi Q5

Below we have the Audi Q5 sales figures and reporting data for the United States and Canada. The Audi Q5 is Audi’s best selling model and comes second to only the Lexus LX in terms of category sales leadership. This is one luxury compact SUV that is kicking butt. In 2018 Audi didn’t rest on its laurels and has fully redesigned the Q5, addressing many of the shortfalls that were evident in the previous edition. With an improved base engine, more driver assistance features, and an updated infotainment system and refreshed design (we love it), Audi hit the winning formula. The Q5 strikes a balance between comfort and sportiness, and its cabin is full of high-quality materials, exactly what Audi has been doing better than just about anybody else over the last five years. This is a very good compact SUV. The Q5 competes with the Porsche Macan, Mercedes-Benz GLC, BMW X3, Jaguar F-Pace, Alfa Romeo Stelvio and Land Rover Range Rover Velar.

Our Take On Audi Q5 Sales Numbers

For 2018, the Q5 gets its first full reworking in the model’s history. Comfortable, quiet, beautifully designed and with tons of tech, the Audi Q5 is a premium crossover that SUV buyers love. The sales numbers don’t lie with the Q5 Audi’s top selling vehicle by a big margin. With all wheel drive and a new generation 252-hp turbo 2.0-liter four-cylinder (the SQ5 gets a supercharged V6) and with a seven-speed automatic (replaces eight-speed conventional automatic), well finished cabin and 7.0-inch infotainment screen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto the new Q5 is five passengers perfection.

2013 was the first sales year that the Q5 narrowly succeeded the A4 as the sales leader of all the Audis, but last year, the Q5 outsold the A4 by roughly 40 percent. And that was less than a decade after the Q5 was launched. In 2017 deliveries of the new Q5 rose to 4,498 in June and rose 17 percent for the year. In July deliveries of the new Q5 were down because of inventory constraints (at that point Q5 sales had risen 11 percent to 29,863. August saw deliveries of the new Q5 increase to 4,767 and have up 11 percent for the year. It looks like the updated Audi Q5 is going to continue its march to sales greatness.
