Bentley is expecting total brand sales to double even though the Bentayga is the most expensive, most luxurious SUV on the market and comes with a scarily high price. It became the brands best selling model in its first month of sales so maybe the guys at Crewe are onto something.

Our Take On Bentley Bentayga Sales Numbers
The last decade has been nothing but awesome for Bentley in terms of sales success. Now with the Bentayga in the lineup the brand expected sales to double. The introduction of Bentayga in American region in the second half of 2016 saw a record-high performance for a six-month period. Bentley’s production capacity of 5,000 annual units has already been sold before its launch. In its first year, almost 1,000 copies were delivered in Europe, making it Bentley’s second best selling model and boosting brand sales to near its 2007 peak. In U.S the Bentayga launched in August 2016 and 884 SUVs were delivered in 2016.
In 2017 the year started well although we are seeing some softness in July and August and wonder whether that trend will continue in the latter months of the year. It is driven by Bentayga sales and it is unclear whether this is the new run rate for the big SUV after a big spike on initial launch or a sign of something else. We will see how sales play out for the rest of 2017. Either way, the Bentayga has sold 692 units in the U.S in 2017 and will see big growth percentages versus 2016.
